Those that are saying you can't have opinion are merely stating the fact that the QB with the worse problems and actual settlements against is not being thrown under the bus in your statements, just the WR. It's a bit tone deaf.

What do you want me to say about Ben? Like seriously, the guy was definitely a scumbag nine years ago and is most likely a scumbag today. The only reason I am bringing up AB and not Ben is that AB was accused yesterday and Ben was accused 9 years ago. I am not saying of it was okay. Ben was suspended six games, later reduced to four, for the accusation.

Dude nobody even said that. You can and prolly should have a Brown take, I'm here for it. That's said your take doesn't absolve me or anybody else of goofing on you for it.

So, *ahem*, do we think there are any provisions in Roger Goddell's official: QB rape cover-up kit, entitled 'the Ben, Big file' for wide receivers. He needs to crack it and dispatch the goons to New England real quick.
Brown would still be here if he didn't go crazy. It's really hard to blame this on Ben after we saw how things unfolded in Oakland. I guess one good thing for Brown is he is working for a man who can show him a sleazy massage parlor or two.

Ben Rothlisberger is no angel and I won't defend his actions with how he's skated by in his personal life. But regarding a locker room cancer like Antonio Brown who pushed his way out of Pittsburgh and comically Oakland months in ; he's not to blame at all. Sure Brown wants to pant Rothlisberger as some bad guy in locker room and he was this guy wanting to express himself etc. But we saw how he expresses himself and his actions since.

No Ben Rothlisberger isn't to blame for an idiot like Antonio Brown.

If anything AB should be sending Big Ben thank you cards for helping to keep him out of trouble as long as he did.

I know it's too early to bring this up after just one game, but what head coaches do you think could be on the hot seat this season? I have a few candidates:

Jay Gruden (Washington): I suspect owner Daniel Snyder is getting impatient, if the Deadskins miss the playoffs again, Gruden's done
Mike Tomlin (Pittsburgh): The Steelers change head coaches about as often as Halley's Comet shows up, but if last Sunday was an indicator of what to expect this season, Tomlin could be in trouble
Dan Quinn (Atlanta): After missing the playoffs last season and starting 2019 with a thud, Quinn might well be living on borrowed time
Matt Patricia (Detroit): Hard to tell if the bloom is off the rose with Patricia in Motown, but, if I were in his shoes, I'd rent instead of buying

As for all the rookie coaches, I think they're safe for this season at least, but then, I could be mistaken. Opinions?

Tomlin ain't going nowhere. ATL will hopefully turn it around, It make take a couple of seasons to shake off the worst Superbowl loss ever. I feel he's good for 19 unless they struggle to be .500, even then Ryan has got to take some ownership at some point. Patricia is just another dead leaf off the Belichick tree of success to add to the pile BUT what else is Detroit gonna do.

It's Jay Gruden. He's already throwing his coaches under the bus, he benched Adrian Peterson, they're a mess and it's week 1. He'll be in Vega$ with his brother for the 2020 season.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

The benching of AP in the season opener made zero sense, especially since the Birds' run defense was questionable going in, and he gouged Philly for something like 100 yards in a game last year.

I am a very, very long time Dolphin fan. But either Josh Rosen is just not a good enough QB for the NFL, or they want to loose behind a 40year old backup. Steve Ross is an awful, Trump-loving, clueless owner. Hard for me to root for them this year.

I imagine that most of NFL owners are Trump supporters, parasitic rent extractors tend to flock together after all.

If Cleveland keeps losing by 30 points and the Browns keep getting over 18 penalties a game then Kitchens will likely be out in Cleveland. The Browns didn't load up on offense by trading for OBJ to not even show up in games.

Well Peterson is the starter going forward. The idea to push Guice hard months after he tore a ACL in one knee backfired big time on Redskins. Today he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his other leg. Gruden claims AP will now start next week.

Baffles me too. Maybe he really does suck in practice.

If he plays decent in practice then the only reason I can think of not to play him is that they don't want to damage him beyond repair by having him develop bad habits due to the shaky line the Dolphins have. For instance, David Carr had the skills to be a great QB but he was hit so often that he began hearing footsteps and developed bad mechanics. They have Rosen for cheap for several years so maybe the thought is save him for next year, still draft a QB, and let things play out between them and if they both work out use Rosen as trade bait down the road.

Everyone knew that the Dolphins would get crushed though so its not really that much of a disaster. The management in Miami went full dumpster fire sale and don't expect to win much if at all. Thus Flores only job is try and develop the young players he has, like Preston Williams who looks great so far, and look forward to next year.

Mitch Trubisky is facing a lot of heat for his performance in week #1. The Bears have a lot invested in him to actually be the franchise QB. In fact here is the scary fact ; the Bears traded up to get him in the same draft that 8 selections later last years NFL MVP went in. Also Trubisky tried claiming the Bears offense has to be balanced to work as they called 45 pass plays. But with this breakdown as this guy shows (and he breaks down a lot of the terrible decision making) Trubisky is still playing like a rookie QB in his 3rd season.

They spent an awful lot of money this season to be missing so many key pieces on both sides of the ball ...

Ay... Caramba! The Antonia Brown voice to email chain is ahh a unique glimpse, so to speak. Belichick isn't going to give a single **** either and he probably shouldn't. NFLPA doesn't stand up the league and their mouthpiece Goddell for much but how can you not here if they dare suggest a concession.
