The League should come back with the whole deal , this is just a season. The next time it happens were taking away his career for good. NO MORE....I wonder if Burflict is thinking of how he blew kisses to the crowd and laughed. Because he felt he would never suffer any punishment. Its clear he thought he could keep paying fines and laugh over what he did. Now he's heart broken as the league took a year away.

    My predictions for Week 5

Seahawks over Rams- Seahawks win a close game at home
Panthers over Jaguars- Panthers prevail at home
Bengals over Cardinals- Bengals finally win a game
Texans over Falcons- the coach for the Falcons will be fired soon
Saints over Bucs- Saints start to dominate their division
Vikings over Giants- the Giants aren't contenders yet
Bears over Raiders- Bears will win with whatever QB plays
Eagles over Jets- Eagles should blow out the Jets
Steelers over Ravens- this win, and a Browns loss, creates a three-way tie in the AFC North
Titans over Bills- both teams end up 3-2
Patriots over Redskins- another easy opponent for the Patriots
Chargers over Broncos- Broncos remain winless
Packers over Cowboys- Eagles tie the Cowboys after they lose
Chiefs over Colts- Chiefs go 5-0
49ers over Browns- 49ers remain undefeated

Bears 12, Raiders 6 - The UK learns how not to play football
Jaguars 21, Panthers 15 - The legend of Minshew grows
    Patriots 50, Washington 9 - Thats a shame
Bills 17, Titans 14 - Bills bounce back!
Ravens 27, Steelers 18 - Ravens draw the line in the sand.
Jets 0, Eagles 33 - Everyone in New York switches the channel before the half ends
Broncos 17, Chargers 20 - Missed it by that much, Flacco!

Pats place kicker Stephen Gostkowski on season ending IR and sign Mike Nugent to replace him for the season. Gostkowski had a hip issue that may require surgery. Pats also signed kicker Younghoe Koo to their practice squad as insurance after they had worked out 7 kicking candidates over the past two days.

Back at it. Forbes.com with the lines

Chicago Bears at Oakland Raiders* (FOX) CHI -5 Return of the Mack Invitational, I'll take the Bears to cover across the pond.
New York Jets at Philadelphia Eagles (CBS) PHI -14 Big Ole' spread there, If you can't do it now Philly, you ain't doin' it. Eagles cover
Atlanta Falcons at Houston Texans (FOX) HOU -5 ...ATL is truly done if they don't win this game. Houston is scaring nobody. Falcons win on the road.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints (FOX) NO -3.5 Not so fast, gimmie the Buccs, I'm getting back on the Crab Leg by way of B.A. train.

I got 3/4 road games and calling the traveling teams the winners.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?

They also have a 3rd layer of insurance in that Jake Bailey (punter) is also capable of making kickoffs.

As much as Burfict deserves his 1 year suspension , the odds he serves it fully is remote. The NFL and NFLPA are having a hearing this week where Derrick Brooks will hear the case and likely drop it down as usual. Brooks overheard Burfict's last case where he was suspended 5 games and made him serve a 3 game suspension. So Brooks will likely make it where Burfict returns this season.

Hopefully the league appeals the decision and ties his career up the entire season.

This Rams/Seahawks game has really became an interesting one to watch. Goff has 2 minutes to try and lead a comeback.

I'd say the biggest problem with Jared Goff is ...he doesn't have a big arm. In fact he's almost like a Montana (who he idolizes) . In this final drive he tries to make these big arm throws . But at times he can't get it there due to the speed of the ball. As far as touch passes , Goff is solid. He can throw some passes that is really accurate.

The Rams miss this FG because Goff lets the offense take a 5 yard false start. So he has to pass to get those yards back. But its wide right.

For the second week in a row, the loser outpassed the winner. The winner ran the ball better.

0 for 15 so far this week!

The Rams have a problem on defense. They've actually had this issue the last couple of years, in spite of adding depth and talent, and I'm starting to think its that the game has moved past Wade Phillips.

Carolina has started to expand its Hall of Fame and the owner told Steve Smith Sr. he'd be going in. As the owner told him he'd go in as the greatest Panther that played. A fact Smith Sr. stopped and corrected him. Telling the greatest Panther player is Sam Mills. In this Smith detailed what Sam Mills meant to him and how he made him a better player.

According to what Steven Smith claimed , Peter King from Sports Illustrated brought up that the Minnesota Vikings can at the end of the season decide to walk away from Kirk Cousins and eat the $28+ million final year of his contract. Due to disappointment with how things have gone thus far. Also the fact they could be thinking they could have a much cheaper QB in this position and could have with Case Keenum.

If the Vikes are already eager to cut Cousins loose, then they were idiots for signing him in the first place.
