He'd rather sign someone off the street for cheap than pay a high draft pick. What they get back would be debatable, but having the #1 overall pick will be just another chance for Mike Brown to show what a joke his organization is.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson looks to be missing at least 6 weeks as he will have surgery on his core muscles.

Dolphins also lose their top receiver, Preston Williams, for the season with a torn ACL.

Might as well have said the rest of the season, because that’s what the end result will end up being. Crap!

To be fair Mike Brown has drafted overall #1 and paid for those draft picks. Even though the players did less than what they should have as pure #1 overall draft picks. Since 1990 Draft these were the 1st overall picks.

    -1994 : Dan Wilkerson (DT)
    -1995 : Ki-Jana Carter (RB)
    -2003 : Carson Palmer (QB)

Now the Bengals for a lot of the near 30 seasons have picked near the top of the draft in the top #10. But these were the 3 overall #1 picks. In the case of the Bengals they have a lot of holes to fill on offensive line and defensive side of the ball. They maybe better invested in trading that #1 overall pick to a Miami if they get a few picks. That way they can try and restock the team.

I dont know how Finley will do but if he dosnt pan out I would like for them to get one of the talented QBs coming out of college. Dalton has been going on in the press since being benched that he wants to be traded so I dont expect him to do much for the team this season if he is called upon to come back for some reason.

Jacoby Brissett is a wait and see by the Colts this Sunday. He suffered a MCL sprain on his knee. But the team will make a judgement call if he does play. The popular opinion is the Colts should sit Brissett for the week.

So who do we think gets the WC in the AFC?

Bills are 6-2 but considered to be overrated. Their remaining schedule: CLE, MIA, DEN, DAL, BAL, PIT, NE & Jets.

Houston are 6-3 & top of the AFC South due to the insanity that is Watson. Their schedule:
BAL, IND, NE, DEN, TEN, TB, & TEN.

Colts are 5-3 and Brisset might miss a game or so. Their schedule:
MIA, JAX, HOU, TEN, TB, NO, CAR and Jax

Chiefs are 6-3 and atop the AFC West with Mahomie due back any week now. Their schedule is TEN, LAC, OAK, NE, DEN, CHI & LAC.

Baltimore is 6-2 and atop the AFC North. Their remaining schedule is CIN, HOU, Rams, SF, BUF, Jets, CLE and PIT.

Pittsburgh is 4-4 and coming out of now where. Their schedule is Rams, CLE, CIN, CLE, ARI, BUF, Jets and BAL.

Oakland is 4-4 after their brutal first half. Their schedule is LAC, BEN, JETS, KC, TEN, JAX, LAC, DEN.

The Chargers are 4-5 and looking hot after beating GB with OAK, KC, DEN, JAX, MIN, OAK and KC.

Jacksonville is 4-5 with Foles coming back with IND, TEN, TB, LAC, OAK, ATL, and IND

And finally the Tennessee is 4-5 with KC, JAX, IND, OAK, HOU, NO, HOU.

I think Baltimore, Houston and KC get their divisions.

I think if Oak can beat SD they should be able to get in. I think Indy and the Bills might start to crash now. Also Pitt might surprise us and sneak in.

Daniel Jones is still a work in progress as we see. As one announcer brought up he will do some good things and then as a rookie QB he will do some bad. Its just that after Mahomes and Lamar Jackson ; people expect QB's to take over the game asap. But in both situations the coaches brought those guys along very well and had a foundation in place for them to be able to come in as we see.

Jones has Barkley at RB and his WR's are either injured or Golden Tate. And nothing against Tate as a WR. But he's more a slot/possession WR who moves the chains. He is a career 11/12 yards a catch WR . So its not like Jones has that HR hitter WR. Sterling Shepard was supposed to be the guy after the trade. But he has only been healthy for 4 games thus far.

The Giants are gonna need to get Jones some help at WR. But letting him keep starting is a good thing as a rookie.

    The Chargers to London?

The Los Angeles Chargers continue to be a disappointment for the NFL. Not in the sense that they're not good on the field (although sometimes that's the case, at least until November rolls around), but in the sense that the Chargers cannot manage to generate any fan interest in L.A.

As a result, the Chargers could be the first NFL team to move to London on a full-time basis. According to a report from Vincent Bonsignore of "The Athletic," the Bolts and the NFL both have interest in the Chargers taking their talents across the pond.

Bonsignore, writing with a London byline, reports "the possibility of the Chargers moving to London has been broached among league personnel" and the "Chargers would at least listen if the NFL approached them about about London as a possible option."

Wasnt there an NFL Europe several years ago that folded? I think having a full time team in London is a bad idea But Roger really seems to want it. But I think it will bomb. Selling out a novelty game or two each season is not the same as building a long term fan base.

I can only imagine the nightmare that will unfold if an existing team is moved to another country. The players under contract balking about moving overseas will probably lead to massive court actions.

Bills, Houston and Oakland are your WC contenders imo right now. I've bolded the losses for each and that's assuming nobody shoots themselves in the foot against the JEST, Cleveland or the Tacks.

Colts are in a spot here having let Pitt eek out a 2 point win in that they kinda now need to win the South which is still doable. Indy losing to Vegas and Pittsburgh will likely come back to bite them square in the ass. Bills have the easier road being the East so I'm gonna stick with them and Houston as WC.
Beefing up the old home security, huh?
