I loved this when it was released.
Apart from a couple of dodgy calls (Wolverine beating Lobo? Come on!)
It was a great time to be a fan of both companies.
Batman/Daredevil
Batman/Punisher (Both were awesome)
Batman/Spider-Man (So were both of these!)
GL/Silver Surfer
Batman/Captain America
Plus, the Amalgam stuff was an absolute BLAST!
I really enjoyed the Access mini series got too.
It's a shame Marvel & DC just can't play nice.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
I need to re-read this mini - it's been too long. (I also can't say how happy I was that they made sure to include Hal in there since he was either Parallax or dead at the time)
Were the pages for the original unreleased mini ever published anywhere? I've seen a few pages, but they seem to have enough pages to actually put it out as a single issue. I can't imagine who owns the rights to those, but c'mon - I'd pay to see those more than I'd want to see the Snyder cut of JLA...
Probably my favorite comic book ever. The wraparound cover for #4 occasionally serves as my desktop background. Doesn't get more epic than battle-worn Superman armed with Mjölnir and Cap's shield.
Hal was the Spectre at the time. Which would be technically dead?!
Yeah, I'd love to see those, too. Were the pages for the original unreleased mini ever published anywhere? The 80s one was a one shot and they reprinted some pages in the jla avengers deluxe hardcover. Guess how much that costs today? Were the pages for the original unreleased mini ever published anywhere?
