Who is Liu Kang? The powerful hero that always dies
Jean?
Xavier = Raiden Magneto = Shao Kahn and Apocalypse = Shinnok
I believe the theory she will die in her 11th life before puberty like Destiny predicted. Hopefully she goes out heroically and not as a traitor of sorts.
As for Apocalypse getting so much prominence with the main XMEN nowadays, not sure how I feel... kinda prefer him solely as a villain but we'll see.
Hope this is a one shot OUTSIDE the main books.
Selene = Shang Tsung
Bobby = Johnny Cage
I've been out of the x-verse for a decade. Who is the guy in the middle with the cerebro like helmet?
Sabretooth as Sub-Zero and Wolverine as Scorpion.
I'm hoping they stick to Apocalypse as a good guy more than Justice League Odyssey stuck to Darkseid as a member of the Justice League. Not that I thought that was a very compelling idea, granted, but I was still surprised how quickly they gave up on that considering they seemed to be making a deal of it.
With the worldbuilding Hickman has given us, I think I could buy Apocalypse as a good guy, if they do it right. I imagine the Moira connection will be important.
I may end up loving good guy Apocalypse. I tend to like face-turns, so i'm not ruling it out.
But on X-Men, it's always been a complaint they don't have many villains because they keep turning good, or anti-heroes. Now they continue that trend by taking Apocalypse off the rogue gallery. Creed as a good guy I could buy since he sucks donkey ass as a villain. Nothing of note lost, and Bunn's plans sounded interesting.
Apocalypse. on the other hand, actually did seem like one of the X-Men's most dangerous & formidable foes that hasn't undergone Villain Decay, so he was fine as is imo. Unless Hickman is gonna take some of the underused more washed-up X-Foes and bring them to prominence as legit threats.

Let’s get Sinister and Stryfe in on the action too so I can relive the 90’s..
