I get there's probably a "grand plan" involved here but I think they could've saved that kind of stuff for King and Mann's Bat/Cat book.
Mann's art is as gorgeous as ever.
I don't mind it if only because black is Selina's color in or out of costume. But she looks great in anything, particularly that swimsuit .
Reminds me of that time Tony Daniel drew her in a very revealing one-piece. Actually, I think it might be the exact same design .
After last issue don't get how anyone can be in the mood for batcat moments, even if they are part of some plan to take back Gotham. It felt out of place last issue and it still feels wrong here.
Everyone already commented what's on my mind so I'm just gonna add this

Not missing it, just not buying it. At least I'm not.
The only thing that can defeat Bane is a beach trip? The only thing? The only thing that can defeat Bane, of all people? Yeah, I'm not optimistic about the answer to that not being some sort of convoluted, wibbly nonsense.

Which is my specific problem - I don't like the color-coding of character's civilian wardrobes to match their costumes. People should not have mono-chromatic wardrobes. I didn't notice it until fanfic had Steph wore purple everything. But then I look at the comics of certain era, and yep, that's a thing. Daily wear, formal wear, sleep wear, etc. Jason always in red. Selina in black (or purple or green to reference old stories). And once I noticed, it irritated me. They used to have more varied wardrobes.I don't mind it if only because black is Selina's color in or out of costume.
Thats my problem with a lot of things in this run. Is there an explanation or a reason for some of the things that happpen? Yes. Do I think they are good explanations or reasons? No.
Bruce hit Tim, because he was still messed up from the Knightmare arc. That's an explanation. Except none of the nightmares were really that bad if you keep in mind what Bruce has already been through.
I think it's human that people have specific colors that they feel comfortable with or feel they look best in. So it's their "color," which also sometimes meshes with their legitimate costume.
I mean, I'd say the varied wardrobe is still a thing since they don't wear the same outfit issue after issue unless they wear their costume 24/7 even if they all share a color. But style can still be varied even with that in mind in my opinion.
Oh, I forgot to add this. There better be another more powerful magic wand on top of that cliff or a mask more powerful than Psycho-Pirate or maybe just Lady Shiva idk
I don't know anyone that wears the same color everyday. Admittedly, I also don't know anyone that dresses in a costume and fights crime. It just bugs me, though. I understand that it doesn't bother most people, but it bugs me. I'd like to see characters not wear the same color 90% of the time. Call it a pet peeve, if you like.I think it's human that people have specific colors that they feel comfortable with or feel they look best in. So it's their "color," which also sometimes meshes with their legitimate costume.

I haven't read that but thanks for the heads up. and it took a dark haired lover on the other side of the law to coax him back to duty you say?
Ahh Bruce...The more things change the more the stay the same. Lucky these ladies are always on hand to remind him/help get his s**t together
Also I'll add that to the list of previous story beats that this run has borrowed from.
Okay but this time the opposite happened. Bruce wanted to immediately get back into the fray, it's the dark-haired lover that convinced him he needs to do this first.
