This is a podcast interview, and I think it starts at around the 20:00 minute mark, I don't remember but it just discusses the same thing, NK Jemisin brings up the many human lanterns thing which was discussed in the interview I previously posted. Idk I feel like she may make a reason for that in the book and if DC wants to they can always expand on that idea for why there are so many human lanterns.

I stumbled upon a Green Lantern podcast, didn't even know any existed, one of the hosts claimed Far Sector was an else world, and I remember seeing tweets from an account saying the same thing. I don't know how, when, or where they got this information from, but they're wrong.

The book is in continuity.

DiDio asked Jemisin how she felt about fitting into continuity.

Even though her book is "outside of the 3600 sectors that the Guardians usually count and number and maintain," and she has no recourse if things go wrong, "What I was really kind of hoping for was that if she does someday go back then she can fit into that continuity. I did read the Geoff Johns books; I read the DC Rebirth...just to make sure I knew what I was writing. She's still a Green Lantern and I wanted to make her feel like a Green Lantern."

This sounds like some combo of "Pleasantville" and "Footloose" but in an alien setting with a GL. (not that that's a bad thing in any way whatsoever )

Based on the solicits, it sounds like some people have regained their ability to feel or have avoided having it stripped. Now, they want their possession of that ability to be legal.

That's what I thought too at first, but not having emotions doesn't mean some people won't logically/scientifically look at the action of stripping emotions from people as inherently bad and non-autonomous which is probably why there is now some type of drug (going by solicits) that someone created to bring emotions back.

I'm super excited for this book! I haven't been excited for a lot of DC titles lately, but this is one for sure. I also don't normally check out GL stories, but I'm so going to try this one.

Also I really hope DC keeps this character around too. She has such a cool design!

Rumor: Will Jo Mullein Replace Hal Jordan as the Green Lantern For DC Comics’ 5G?

Positives to this rumor: Confirms Far Sector story is in continuity, and Jo would be sticking around which is even better if we actually like this character and story.

Negatives to this rumor: Grant Morrison and Liam Sharp doing anything with the character after NK Jemisin and Jamal Campbell will be jarring...

Tbh, after having looked at BC's 5g tag I have no idea if Grant's 22 to 24 Lantern run is considered 1 season or 2 seasons, if it's the latter, than I (personally) don't have anything to worry about since they wouldn't be handling the character, but none of this matters if this is just a rumor so... *shrugs*
