Default Marvel's Most Famous CONTRA-CONS (Contradictory Continuities)

Has there been a thread or repository where we notate important Marvel continuity shifts?

This is not including Retcons (Jean Grey / Dark Phoenix), later reveals (Daredevils' Stick), between-panel-updates (Sind Past) - and certainly not wholesale universe reboots.

Rather, this would be creators coming in and specifically changing major events, story backgrounds, etc ... without a clear explanation.

Some examples I can think of:

    - John Byrne's Chapter One stories (Could have been easily dismissed as an AU miniseries, had it not been tied into 616 in the ASM and PPSM series).

    - Spider-Woman Origins - completely changes SW's origin, parents, etc in more than just a 'reveal'.

    - Reginald Hudlin's Black Panther - known to have massive unexplained continuity changes when published in 2005.

    - More of a sliding timescale deal, but wasn't Iron Man's origin retconned at some point to taking place during the Gulf War? Regardless, it is now firmly established as happening in "Sin-Cong" along with any other character that fought formerly in Vietnam.

    Any others that I'm missing?

The parentage of Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch -- several times----as well as their power origin status: mutants then mutates.

The Scarlet Witch's power level: from mutant with bad luck powers (or something like that), to rookie Dr. Strange, to Beyonder, to rookie Dr. Strange again, etc.

The Vision was revealed to have been built from the body of the original Human Torch.

Then John Byrne revealed that the Vision was not built out of the Torch, and then brought the original Torch back to life.

Then "Avengers Forever" revealed that Immortus used divergent timelines to create two Human Torches, one whose body became the Vision's, and the other who came back to life.

Beyonder is definately one which was a bit all over the place. From the most powerful being in the universe, to an incomplete cosmic cube, to a mutant Inhuman, to Hickmans secret Wars thing.

The confusion with Iron man regarding where it took place is always a fun one because it moved from Vietnam to the Middle East and for some reason now to a fictional country despite the fact that the United States is still in the Middle East. So a retcon that worked now changed back so to speak kind of doesn't despite the fact Tony was active with Bruce on the Gamma bomb. Nuclear weapons would stop testing in 1992 but Stark Industries can't have an interest in the still very active conflict in the Middle East. Crazy.

Currently all the death is cheap around the X-men.
Pretty much everything with Byrne past his run on alpha flight.
Pretty much accepting Austen into continuity (made fun by Dan Slott on his She-Hulk run)
Archangel/Angel is starting to become one. Teenagers age like Power Pack.

Reed Richards and Ben Grim were supposed to be about mid-40's during that first issue adventure. Then they were de-aged quite a bit, about 16 years.

I remember people complaining about how insane and self-contradictory The Crossing was. I never read it, but I assume it counts.
