Ooh, hadn't thought of that. I think the point of the X3 future is that the humans won't ascend, and House of X is about the biological gaining aacendency over the machines by mutation. Machines can adapt, network and improve themselves beyond Ty he singularity; maybe organisms can too?
Hickman has a thing for Apocalypse. He was one of Doom's lieutenants in Secret Wars (when Hickman really could've picked anyone, which makes this even better), and Hickman's lone contribution to Marvel #1000 was an Apocalypse story. I really hope this means that En Sabah Nur is restored to respectable status -- he seemed tougher in the 90s cartoon than the past 20 or so years of comic appearances.
John Sublime and his sister Arkea
Krakoa and Arakoa
Charles and Cassandra
So many twins
And here's Charles dressed similarly to Cassandra while touring Krakoa. Hm.
I'm just so intrigued with the original horsemen holding guard over Arakko. Krakoa being sad and feeling alone, "a half not whole".
And Sinister Secret #8: "For years, the fittest-of-all mutant has routinely surrounded himself with a particular-numbered entourage. These hangers-on stick around for a while until they are eventually replaced with newer, more exciting members. What most people don't know is that if the original members returned, these pretenders (love this word) would be dropped so fast their heads would spin".
Makes me wonder if Apocalypse's presence going forward is connected to this. Is he there making sure Arakko doesn't reopen or return? Does he want his horsemen back? Doug told Charles all of this. Very interesting stuff.
Kid Omega was some what of a trend setter and he has a large enough role. And he died then was put in a test tube
I hope the OG Horsemen aren't crappy rip-offs like the 1,000,000 BC Avengers.
"Cable was right!"
Oh we can see that one of them looks like Ghost Rider and the other as Korvus Glave. The other one looks like they have a silhouette with a large head so maybe a telepath.
