Hope is drawn with actual green eyes for a few issues when she is older. But the majority of the time her eyes are blue

Those are all green. As someone who spends a lot of time in hues, i can assure you those are green. I just opened those in photoshop after saving it and if you use the dropper on the eyes it even takes you to the green hues.

I maintain it’s more of Bad Writing (the Morrison/ Austin/ maybe even Casey Run) that did the relationship no favors.......will it be where it was? Time will tell (in the slightly Furman-Style tone......) where the relationship goes in the future I guess......

Haven’t read the thread yet.

But here are my two cents:
I do believe Scott had moved on/stopped “loving” Jean. Like any marriages that hits low, these two were outgrowing one another. The chemistry died down and it wasn’t getting better. Emma just helped them realise it.

Cyclops “never forgetting Jean” seems like a retcon to me. He clearly moved on from Jean which is a good thing because Jean held him back.

Why does it mean Jean has no self esteem because she would take back the love of her life? Wouldn't Emma have even less self esteem since she literally had to dress up as another woman to even get her foot in the door with said woman's husband? [And then tried to brainwash a teenage boy to get her man back.

It doesn't seem like a retcon when there are multiple stances of Emma feeling insecure and Scott clearly loving and missing Jean throught the years. That happened, I don't know why Scemma fans ignore that.
Jean didn't hold him back, just like Emma didn't, just like any other relationship he may have. That's only the cheapest argument any shipper says about any other ship that could possibly compromise his ship.
