I heard that...
spoilers:end of spoilers
The plot is the same as Spider-Girl, but starring a son instead of a daugther and Peter lost his arm instead of a leg.

Seems like spoilers:end of spoilers
MJ dies in the beginning. There's a time skip, Peter is older with a beard and missing his arm. Similarities to Spider-Girl: Time skip, beard, missing limb, kid discovers heritage at the end of first issue.
I'm sure it'll be a good story, I didn't have much interest in reading it and I still don't.
This video has some extra images from the comics including a look at the new character. And apparently, a Peter who looks like John Wick.

It began with nepotism, now we have plagiarism (not to mention the misleading advertising that promised something "new and different" because it is already common). I wonder what will come next...
To be honest, I think I'd care for the story they were advertising than this.
This is basically any dime-a-dozen Hollywood manpain story transplanted to Spider-Man.
I told you guys it would suck.
I will say...I was kind of hoping for something happier? I haven't read the issue yet, but I will in a few hours. But if the spoilers are completely true, then wow that's depressing. Sounds more like a Batman Dark Knight Returns setup than a Spider-Man story, you know?
Kind of seems to be a amalgamation of the threads of Spider Man: Renew your Vows ,Spider Man: Reign and Spider Girl now that I read the spoilers.
