Cool. I don't think Yu was the best choice to headline the new book. I hope we see more of Silva and it's not just one issue.
Matteo Buffagni is also pretty great.

I don't know why seeing Apocalypse in a suit is so funny but it is.

Let's all take a moment to appreciate how awesome Apocalypse looks in that suit.

R.B. Silva can be so good and beautiful but sometimes he also rushes things a little. It is still something good, he usually does more good than bad.

It is weird, there is discussion about the other books but i feel this thread a little quiet

I feel like the rotating story lines makes me a little less exited for the book. I guess it's still going to be about the new status quo. Scott is head of the Krakoa armed forces so he is going to be doing regular missions so I guess it makes sense that the book rotates through said missions on a regular basis. I just hope we see some ongoing overall story from X-Men.

I will get the book for sure because I do expect this to drive the story because this is Hickman's main book that he is writing himself. Maybe we get to see mission command on the 2nd island, that will be cool to see the tech they have on the 2nd island.

As long as we don't get an 11 issue story arc to deal with one baddie, I'm good.

Isn't this the flagship? Why is Hickman hyping up other books more

So people would give them a chance and not just stick to X-Men?

yeah, and I think he is deliberately breaking the overall story up so people will have reasons to read the other books.

X-Force is going to be taking care of the clandestine operations of Krakoa and their missions will probably reflect that.

Marauders is going to be exploring the political and economic fall out of Krakoa becoming a strong trade nation and the threats and enemies that will erupt from that new prominence in the world for mutants.

New Mutants will be exploring the connection with Krakoa and the Shi'ar and in the off book how some of the young X-Men are handling the new status quo for Krakoa.

Fallen Angels the people and the threats that are off island.

I think they are hoping all the books sell really well because there are different stories that are going to be told in all the different books.

LOL as if does need a explication and Hickman is only hyping Marauders.

I guess they think Cyclops and Hicman on x-men will be enough to good sales

I'm surprised by him calling Mauraders the most important title. Why isn't he writing it?
