I vaguely recall a mention in that one Morrison issue, yeah. I didn't read the solo with the softcore covers. Any idea what Iceman issue?

Hate me all you want, but the way Aussie Pyro talks is going to be a highlight for me each issue. haha.
Good first issue. Loved Kitty’s log, loved OG Pyro. More brutal combat from Kitty than I’ve ever seen, though I’ve always thought about her being capable of it. Glad Ororo checked the team name.
There’s a lot of possibility here. I loved the little bits of slice of life re: Krakoa and its need for outside amenities, etc. Also liked the Central Park flashback. Couldn’t make out if there were supposed to be any known mutants in that scene along with Kitty, Kurt and Ororo but one looked vaguely like Bling.
Is it me or were those Predator X analogs glimpsed at the Brazilian gates in Emma’s astral pitch? I hated that era but it’s a cool callback.
Thanks for the Christian deets. Also: That Iceman joke this issue was the tops. You know the one.

Loved this issue. Made me smirk and smile a lot.
Thanks to Duggan it's cool to say you like Kitty Pryde again and her stans should sing his praises forever.
I'm not looking fwd to the predictable Kitty hate. I didn't like Gold any more than anyone else but it's not a competition.
If Duggan* actually resurrected the ridiculous old Neo plot thread re: Kitty I will love him forever. (Tho IIRC the Neo were mutants, just a different/'more evolved' strain with ludicrous fashion sense)
*- or Hickman, because given the Children turning up last week the Neo are relevant to the topic too and I wouldn't be shocked
It's been a long while since I've enjoyed Kitty Pryde. This is how she should be written.
Overall a fun book, enjoyed the banter, the only criticism I have is that maybe the antagonists were a little generic, but a real solid start.
