Post Where does Sony go with Tom Holland's Spidey moving forward???

Of course this is the most popular question at the moment, and while commenting on an IGN thread I had an idea that would most likely cause many of us that are unhappy with what just went down to not take it as badly.

I honestly hope that Sony already had this idea in its pocket and that it is the real reason they were willing to split with Marvel Studios.

Thanks to Spider-Verse......and there all the pieces begin to fall into place.

Holland can be the MCU Spider-Man, they just have to play it tongue in cheek AND Holland's Spider-Man would need to have been stuck in the new dimension for a few years so that he has already acclimated.

Have the 3rd Spider-Man live action movie take place in a world introducing Ghost Spider or Miles to the live screen, where Holland's Spider-Man and whomever first work together as a team. How they balance the number of spiders is up to them, but having Holland be the Experienced one and having him live would be much more like how the Comic is right now...

In all honesty, I think bringing Holland over this way for the next live action movie is the only way Sony stands a chance at not losing over $400-600M that they most likely would have made with a Marvel Studios backed 3rd Spider-Man with Holland's Peter taking center stage for the long haul that would have continued one of the greatest collaborations in Studio Executive History.

I seriously want to hear what it would take for Sony to guarantee your butt in a seat for their...re-...something...and what you think about my idea for bringing Holland over to whatever Universe(s) Sony is setting up for Spider-Man.

Basically you would have Tom Holland play an alternate version of his Spidey- one that isnt in the MCU.

Don't pay too much attention to it- just act like nothing was wrong.

Or just kill him off for Miles.

That's it. It's not that hard.

Just pick up where the last movie left off but don't refer to the rest of the MCU.

Sony definitely has their work cut out for them. They have to prove that they can keep the ball rolling on their own.

But it's not impossible and working around the split from the MCU in-story is one of their lesser problems.

I don't think they can continue where they left off even with Tom Holland. I suspect Marvel made the MCU so core to Spider-Man's story that it would be impossible to continue without it. How does he refer to past events, his mentor, his villains getting screwed over by "some guy", his aunt dating some deceased billionaire's best friend, where his suit's tech came from, and who brought him into the big leagues to begin with?

It all leads back to Mr. Can't Be Named Without MCU.

    No no just imagine it:

no involvement from Avi Arad. no more shoehorned villain teamups. no more fast-tracked goblins or love interest deaths. Preferably no more personal connections to the villains. (really, it's pushing too much credibility. I don't want to see Peter's ex-shop teacher becoming the Beetle or something. But it's at least a 50% chance of it happening anyway).

If both his hands are full, how's he web-swinging, with his feet?
And no one has a Zune. No one.

Hopefully they go somewhere that is not USM. I'd like to see more from the 616 status quo.
