How much is Rogue worth and why doesnt she spend lavishly?

This is brought up every few months but you dont see her buying mansions or attending investment meetings. Why is that and what is the limit to this "wealth" she supposedly has?

Claremont’s X-treme X-men run, said that Destiny left her money and some house. That’s where the team was staying. Didn’t really get mentioned again after that. She’s not a ‘lavish’ type person, so wouldn’t really be living that way, even with money.

Rogue had a home in Spain, in California, in New Orleans, and in the Mediterranean. In X-Treme, Rogue inherited the estate of Irene Adler. No other writer since X-Treme ended has mentioned Rogue's financial status. Why I don't know.

It's not part of her character, so she's not.

A story might make her wealthy but it will be quickly forgotten and ignored by other writers.

Frankly the way the X-Men are constantly leeching off their more wealthy members I would keep a low profile about it too.

And when Wade left, Johnny Storm took over as financier. Reed Richards had been declared dead, and his patents made a LOT of money. He used it to buy Avengers Mansion and set up Avengers Inc, which now funds the Avengers and the mansion's maintenance (though that hasn't actually been mentioned in Aaron's run). Incidentally, Wasp could've easily funded the Unity Squad too.

Just bc she was rich at one point doesnt mean she still is. Rogue seems like the type of person that doesnt understand finances and probably lost it bc she wasnt doing a good job of maintaing her status. I could easily see her getting taken advantage of and swindled
