If Marvel would let them appear in the X-books then that would be a pretty funny argument for the characters to have, whether they should ban Wanda from their clubhouse because she's a Pretender (since they can't really claim to be banning people for their past crimes).

I'm reminded of some X-Factor annual where Scott invites Jamie Madrox and his X-Factor Investigations crew to come live with the rest of them on Utopia island, and Madrox says something about not being crazy about all the super-villains he's hanging around with these days, and Scott's like 'What?' and on a staircase above them Emma, Magneto and Namor are descending to join the conversation, and Madrox just points.

And it looks like Vulcan will be joining an X-team, and maybe Apocalypse and Sinister working with them. Yikes. Wanda might not be genocidal *enough* to join, soon. Although perhaps *ladies* are held to a higher standard? I'm noticing that Cassandra Nova and Selene haven't been invited to the party...

I think that's true for Wanda, but not for Pietro.

I always saw Pietro as someone less settled, more unstable… maybe, something to do with his powers.
He needs something to ground him, a community, a cause…

Wanda is more a woman who needs a family to have a emotional stability.
I understand Wanda better.

It's not like killing mutants is something the X-men care about these days, they have people in their ranks who hunted them for sport and ruined their lives. The Morlocks are in a strange position now, what with the people who tried to annihilate their culture roaming free and getting access to the Quiet Council. I'm shocked none of them have tried to assassinate Sinister yet.

Moral principals drive everyone and it's not like the X-men wouldn't do the same if they thought something bad was happening. This is why they wanted human lead Genosha to end. It was against their morals. And anyone who was in the resistance against the timelines Apocalypse ruled the planet.

In that case she'd fit right in. X-villains get enormous privileges in Krakoa, she might get a seat on the Quiet Council or be a potential replacement for the Five.
