Default Is All-Star Squadron No Longer Cannon?

I've been enjoying the return of the Justice Society of America over in Snyder's JLA, but I couldn't help but notice that the last issue completely contradicts the events of the Roy Thomas penned All-Star Squadron issue 1-3, which for many years, even after Crisis and a few tweaks, was considered in-continuity for the Golden Age characters. Is DC eschewing a large part of the JSA's history or can it all be chalked up to a temporary time anomaly brought on by Perpetua?

Inbetween Perpetua's and Dr. Manhatten's meddling, and whatever wish Johnny Thunder made, it's tough to say what is canon from the Golden Age at the moment.

Especially since plans may well have changed. Geoff Johns, in Rebirth, called the JSA a "covert" organization. This no longer appears to be the case.

Right now, probably not. The JSA isn't remembered by the main heroes and characters of the main DC Earth. But a lot of multiversal shuffling is going on in different stories and what the situation is now may not be the situation next month.

Pretty sure All Star Squadron hasn't been cannon since Nu52, the same way JSA wasn't cannon either.
That was the point where all previous continuity didn't count unless a writer re-introduced it.
(Batman and GL mythology came the closest but wasn't identical).

We learned in Doomsday Clock WHY the JSA disappeared... Dr Manhattan pushed Alan Scott's lantern out of reach, resulting in him dying on the scene and never founding the JSA. The fact that Alan is now alive and well as GL in 1942 when the JL travel there in JL#31 hints that these actions may be undone by the end of D-Clock #12...but that may or may not mean all previous Golden Age history is back in play. The JSA is clearly back but that may not mean things like the Young All-Stars, A.S.Squadron etc are all back.

If the Squadron does come back into play, it could be altered from the version Roy Thomas wrote.

That's one way to look at it.
