Will GotG comic sales rise due to the movie?

My main hope is that movie has established the book firmly enough among existing readers that it can survive without Bendis when he leaves (which can't happen soon enough IMO - I like him on X-men but on GoTG he's been horrid . its a book of characters without any character).

Stories? Not much has happened, they seem to be just used to tie into events and that's pretty much it...

And Rocket Racoon 1 is the highest selling book of 2014.

The sales of this book over the next few months will be very interesting.

The GotG itself will probably see a boost in trade sales and maybe comixology. It currently holds 3 of the top 10 bestselling spots on Amazon. The monthly issues have gone up a bit already, but who knows if that will grow or last. I'm surprised they didn't relaunch it with the other two titles, honestly.
