Exactly right. We've seen in solicitations that mutants will be hopping around the world still hero'ing, but it's gonna have to be on their terms now. Perhaps we'll stop seeing them arrive at the scene of a villainous crime and be greeted by protestors and picket signs. Enough already. Let us hero, man! Betsy as CB while being a citizen of Krakoa will be very interesting.

The fact is Moira has seen almost a dozen lives where mutants get exterminated by humans. This is why, while the nation is young, no human can come and go unless escorted. Sounds sane to me, and so does creating a safe haven for your people in hopes of avoiding another extermination.

I am imagining a scenario where a cosmic entity appears in Krakoa and says:

'Hey, Mutants, I can get rid of every single human on this planet just by wishing it. However, I want you to help me decide. Do you want all Homo Sapiens to disappear off the face of the Earth?'.

Do you think that most Mutants would vote yes or no?

We know that Marvel humans, or at least a large part of them, would not hesitate to get rid of Mutants, or at least that's what it seems, judging by the way they have acted over the years. The point is... would the Mutants do the same if they had the chance?

I would think probably not, only because mutants are born from humans too. But it's interesting to consider.

I think they would ask the cosmic entity to terra form Mars and help the mutants move there and leave Earth behind. Because they don't really want to destroy the human race, they just want to save their people from the endless persecution that the humans try to inflict on the mutants.

One would think that with the abundance of reality warpers, elementals, and long range teleporters that the mutant population has someone would have considered such a move...

Expanding the Krakoan habitat on Mars or the Moon wouldn't be such a bad idea. I mean, colonizing the galaxy through Krakoan habitats is not a bad idea in itself.

It looks like they do have habitats on Mars (Armor was planting a Krakoa plant) and on the moon (was it Bobby planting that one?), both shown in HOX #1. And the X-Men departed from the moon on the Mother Mold mission. Interested in learning more about both habitats.

Really? On which planet(s) did they start with besides Earth's moon?

Weren’t those Avengers who destroyed Regina and Perth in Hickman’s run terraforming Mars? I’m sure Mutants could already do that if they were truly isolationists.

Yeah sorry, bad wording. I meant expanding their already existing habitats on the Moon and Mars. Like, to engulf the whole satellite/planet's surface. I wonder how Krakoa interacts with Ex Nihilo's garden.

Well, they can't speak for all mutants but the X-Men have dealt with that scenario before, "X-Men: No More Humans" "Age of X-Man" and to an extent "House of M", and they always fight to return to the status quo.

Like people complaining about BET. How come there's no white tv? All tv was white. Lol No different than clueless folks doing Straight Pride Parades.

Funny the second minorities start doing their own exclusive things, the majority feels threatened & mistreated.

The mutants haven't been welcomed in society, so they make their own, now humans can find issues with that.
Yeah it’s essentially the “why isn’t there a White Entertainment Television or Straight Pride Parade or Historically White College/University” argument that ignores why these communities needed to do so in the first place. White Queen is taking away autonomy from ambassadors. Out of context, whoa she’s a monster. In context, she’s lost so many mutants and this is the only way she can ensure their safety so she’s absolutely willing to break all the rules.

They also have a fat check from Iceman.

Mars and the Blue Area of the Moon.

The inhumans live in New Artctilan in the Gray Zone so I guess they are almost neighbors.

We will never truly escape Ex Nihilo's shit-eating grin. It's 'a comin'.
