Since Proteus is part of the team I honestly think there's some more reality warping going on beyond the egg part since they make emphasis on Hope making sure they use their powers to the fullest and in unison. So I don't think this is just standard cloning.

Well I actually made this post in the wrong forum but basically what I meant was the part of you that makes you you. Like when Nightcrawler died his soul went to heaven which as we know in Marvel canon is a real thing we saw it an Amazing X-men. If all these people have died sure you can upload their brain activity but their souls isn't something that can be copied, they've moved on therefore these aren't the same people so it can't be considered ressurection.

Like the use of Proteus here. Not a fan of the Bendis creations at all. Especially hate Goldballs but Hickman found a way to make them more relevant. That said Tempus is the only one somewhat viable. It would have been so much simpler for Elixir just to resurrect everyone wouldnt it
