I think if you make Squirrel Girl more modern and edgy it defeats the point of her character.

Me too. The way i look at it, you can do anything to update a character but change enough stuff and it won't be that character - just one with the same name. You could have leather jacketed short spikey hair Thor for instance or Mexican Storm or a Hawkeye who thinks killing is ok and ... oh wait. Lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if she got one one day. When and who does it are the only questions in my mind about it.

I have a question...when did they start making her look more girl-ish? I wasn't a fan of her design in her debut. I mean no disrespect to the artist, but her body structure makes her look like a boy.
