So Doreen can officially add Dormammu to her list of victories and apparently having partially squirrel blood makes it so you can punch the Surfer in the face and not have your hand burn off*. Combined with Drax and all the random gags, this issue really felt like it was trying to cram as much in as possible, but it worked.
*Just my interpretation of that of course.
Of course she also shows up in Avengers #675 No Surrender part 1. However...
spoilers:end of spoilers
She gets incapacitated by the end of the issue and will play no further part for the foreseeable future. The same attack also took down the X-Men, Champions, and about a third of the Avengers including Spider-Man.
I looked at the sales of December. Squirrel Girl managed to be in 94th spot. With numbers at 22,412. Its good news. I think its perhaps the first time it sold above 20K. And a sub-100 finish.

I wonder if an appearance of Loki had an effect. Anyway its a nice improvement. Let it do like this and improve further.

She is one of my favourite Marvel comics, I love her series so much! I can't wait for the next trade which is going to be out shortly.
So, super-sad news: Erica Henderson is leaving Squirrel Girl. She wants to work on creator-owned stuff.
I hope she does well, of course, but I'm really sad to see her go. She's been an integral part of the book's personality. She brought so much charm, energy and character, and I can't imagine the book with a different artist.
