The curious case of Amelia Voght

Amelia wouldn't like a whiner like Danger. She's probably working at hospital again with Cece Reyes, Nurse Annie and ZombieSharon Friedlander.


Her absence in this story is freaking noticeable, though. I hope she gets at least a mention. For Xavier and Moira had together, Voght showed Charles how not to be a tool with his powers. She is an important rebound chapter in his life and I long for the day she gets her own massive retcon X-Men Reboot.

I'm reading X-Men from the Begi---- from Claremont. I'm at Legion's first appearance, and she isn't very likable. Lol I'd rather see Voght, too. I wouldn't mind having all three. They have interesting relationships with Mags and Xavier. Mags hates Moira, employed Voght, and liked Gabby well enough. Xavier loves all three. Voght likes Magneto, and doesn't hate Charles. I'm sure Haller does not like Magneto and we must be at a Moira issue by now, Hickman!!! I'm so sure she and Xavier are the couple Sinister Secret.

Yeah Gabrielle is very unlikable. She was involved in getting the UN to give Magneto the island of Genosha. But I think Vought really needs to appear

Amelia is too sane and down to earth as a character for x-writers to be interested.

They rather character-assassinate the likes of Mystique and Emma.

Not that sane, lol. In her first appearance, she tells Cortez to kill Moira for going against Lord Magneto. Maybe Moira did her in. I love that they all call him Lord Magneto. Almost sweet but so crazy

Ms. Voughts absence is quite noticeable from the current HoX/PoX books given her history with:

Charles Xavier
Magneto
Exodus

Charles has been nothing but a massive a-hole to her from the get go right through to her last appearance in Legacy. As a result she chose a different way.

Would Vought be as accepting of being lead by Xavier as the others?

And if not is she sipping tea halfway across the world with Danger?

There’s speculation that the current Xavier is Moira in an Xavier clone body. If this is true, you have your answer on why Amelia is not around.

I think we can wait till Wednesday to find out if your theory holds any water. I think this theory is very very improbable but you can choose to believe what you wish to believe. For the remainder of this thread we can discuss Amelias non appearance in relation to my OP

Oh I don’t know, I for one would love to read Amelia going to greet ‘Xavier’ with a kiss only to have Moira have to interrupt. Or keep going. It is Krakoa after all.
