That could work. Come to think of it, Adamantium Agenda's first issue had Luke Cage and Jessica Jones finding out that Dani's DNA was being sold on the black market, so it does look like there might be an interest in her already from the less-savory elements of the MU.

Indeed. I just read Adamantium Agenda because Spider-Man was in it, and the team assembled by Iron Man (mostly a New Avengers reunion) was initially there to track down whoever was selling Wolverine's DNA on the black market. Then it turned out by the end of the first issue that it wasn't Wolverine's DNA being auctioned off, but Dani Cage's, much to the disgust and ire of her parents, who were part of said team. Afterwards, it turned into a bit of a kerfuffle with Mister Sinister and his DNA archive of damn near every human, mutant, and other being in existence on Earth.
