Added Darkchylde. But, I think the Builders or the Eternity Watch would handily take my team down.

I don't think any supergroup could take on the Eternity Watch. Maybe a team full of Omegas..

    Proteus( reality changer)
    Selene (powerhouse, vampire, magic)
Apocalypse (powerhouse, super intelligence and a power set a mile long)
    Exodus (tk)
Bishop( energy absorption and redirection and team leader)
Gambit (after Some tinkering by sinister) almost limitless energy
Rogue (maybe the most powerful if she is used right in this team )
Wolverine (best there is at what he does )
Domino (everyone needs a bit of luck power)
Madrox. (Can create an army and is “food” for Selene and proteus.)
Forge . Can equip the Maddox army with incredible powerful weaponry.
Onslaught ( which now can be recreated and would be there for not only the telepathy, but also to keep control of the last member of the extinction team :
Legion ( maybe most powerful mutant beside franklin Richards)

Trying to keep that team from suddenly laying waste to a country or two or worse would be an issue.

If you are going to add the likes of Exodus you need someone to order him around as in Magneto or Polaris. You want Selene or Apocalypse you need two of equal power to keep them in line if they get angry and decide to kill a few million people.

One has to keep each missions end goal in mind and know you have enough willing to follow orders even when they are pissed off to attain that end goal. Add in pretty clear ticking time bombs means you need others capable of keeping them in line.

    - Rogue doesn't have the stomach for Extinction Team. Monet has proven she does.
    - I wanted Cypher for tech but while I like Doug's 'body language'-reading physical application of his potentially omniscient power set, many hate it and even with it he hasn't yet been shown to be consistently physically capable enough to handle that level of engagement. Sage can.
    - Rachel is going out there as "Phoenix," period, and wearing a Phoenix costume while doing it. That sends a message.
    - I worship Ororo but she didn't have a blast the last time she did this kind of work. I would need to see more of the current Ororo to be sure she's down for that kind of dark again.
    - Selene can't be trusted with a pet rock.

Hummmm Rogué vs celestialn = other mutants :confuso:

Rogue vs hecatombe 8 billions of soulds = other mutants :confuso:

    Well lol

    Team

Leader Rogue= powerhouse; super strong class 100+ invulnerabily+ fligth+ super speed +absorb energy vital or memories or habilities or powers+ absorption to distance . Deux ex machina for her absorption.

Jean grey ; tp and tk

Éxodos ; he is Jean grey but more powerfull and dangerous

    Proteus; rw

    Woverine, soldier

    Storm; atmosferic powers

    Magik

    Magneto

Legion No . He is more inestable.

    And Hope is very limited

That Team is a scary for anithing Team.

All of Krakoa should be the Extinction team, they have so many resources and mutants to draw from. If Hickman is giving us a rotating cast, rotate the hell out of it

Telepath - Xavier, Jean, Emma, the Cuckoos
Teleporter - Astra, Blink, Lila Cheney and Ariel
Tech expert/X-Club - Douglock, Trinary, Sage, Black Tom Cassidy, Beast, Forge, Madison Jeffries, Kavita Rao, Prodigy
Bruiser - Colossus, Rockslide, Armor, Frenzy, Gentle
Elemental - Storm, Magma, Iceman, Sunfire
Flying brick - Monet, Sunspot, Warpath
Sorcerer - Scarlet Witch, Selene, Magik
Energy manipulator - Bishop, Magneto, Polaris, Shen and Kuan-Yin Xorn

Krakoa is nation now and Nations have armies. An organized mutant army is a scary thing and you can have them neatly organized them into groups by type of powers. You could also organize them like traditional army Air Force/Navy/Infantry/Artillery/ Special OPs/Intelligence.Plus you could specialty groups specific to mutants them I think "Psi corps" would turn out to be scary group. Krakoa itself is warning that Extinction team was for Cyclops. Omega mutants would be like Tactical nukes. When you have a bunch of nukes you don't bunch them together. But to play along with the thread

    support squad

    WMD Proteus
    Time manipulator Tempus
    Teleporter : Manifold
    Medic: Elixir
    Science Guy Beast
    Tech Guy Trinary
    Flex spot: Darwin/Lifeguard
    Man in the chair Xavier

    Fire Team 1
    Telepath Jean Grey
    Long Range/Sniper Cyclops
    Stealth OP /Scout Cipher
    Bruiser Apocalypse

    Fire Team 2
    Squad Leader Exodus
    Bruiser Rogue
    Long Range expert Storm
    Wolverine-Best at what he does

This is what about I would like to see not every mission is about raw power and you can't do a mission without support.

I'd go for the most dangerous non-omega mutants available - Chuck seems unlikely to risk multiple omega mutants on a team since they are so valuable.

Cyclops, Storm, Frenzy (more frightening than Colossus), Rachel 'Prestige' Grey (psychic tracking is an edge not covered by most other telepaths), Polaris, Wolverine or X-23 depending on mission, Namor, Madison 'Box' Jeffries (mentally link him to Hank or Forge and you have near instant tech on your side), maybe one or two others depending on mission. I want to include Magik, but I'm not sure if she was on the Omega list or not and I'm trying to avoid them.
    Dark does not mean deep.

Selene is so selfish I just dont see how she can work long term with anyone unless she develops some odd loyalty to Magneto or Sinister but after her last big gamble? That dont make any sense.
