I liked Scorch during the Joe Kelly JLA run. They seemed like a good couple when reading it and it was nice she was helping him to try getting over his fear of fire. It's a shame that it led to the Fernus the Burning crisis, but at least the intentions were noble.

J'Onn has largely been a solitary figure, but they did have him dabble with romance during his JLU days, like with the Rose Wilson of Earth-3 and the Chinese woman who appeared to be his wife during the series finale.

No, I kind of read him as after he lost his family (wife), sadly there really is no one that can (or has) replaced them or filled that void, sadly.
On the CW J'onn has a relationship with M'gann M'orzz, but the real great, powerful relationship on that show was with his father.
Which he kind of caries internally.
Just catching up with some episodes, I love his portrayal there, and they have now set him up with his own Manhunter (Detective) office, David Harewood (and Carl Lumbly as his father) are fantastic, almost wish they'd give him his own TV mini-series.Last edited by Güicho; 09-24-2019 at 04:47 AM.
