Jesus, that makes me miss one artistic element that a lot of the Marvel superhero teams at the time shared: uniform jackets! With either an A or an X on the shoulders to denote affiliation! And definitely like that they're competing on Konami X-Men (WELCOME TO DIE). But the Avengers cabinet isn't familiar. Should that be the "Captain America and the Avengers" beat-em-up from Data East? Since the cover date's 1993, it can't be the "Avengers in Galactic Storm" fighting game from 1995.

And this level of cross-team camaraderie is now a true IMPOSSIBLE DREAM in this day and age, all because creators and editors thought heroes killing each other was fun and many readers agreed.
