Pick A Theme And Give Me A Pitch Thread Part 1

With the lockdown going on, we all need a creative outlet. As fans we all have these story ideas that we have bouncing around in our head that we just want to share with the rest of fandom, so I’m going to be starting a series of threads with polls that you will have to come up with those great ideas. We’ll be voting on the villains, and then you give us your pitch, which must include roster, settings, just any little minor detail, minus a full script/page layout. This will begin every Sunday, and polls will close on every Wednesday 12 pm EST. You’ll have until midnight of that upcoming Sunday to submit your detailed summary, and everyone will pm their favorite of the group (I will disqualify any votes for your own) by midnight Sunday night/Monday morning EST. So get creative, and please have fun.

I voted Technet cause I want to go crosstime. I don't know how to approach a story knowing the villain beforehand. I mean, I had a nice ongoing pitch with Dazzler on the run in Shi'ar space, and Ororo setting up a mutant research facility in Egypt, but both were going to introduce new villains.

What's everyone's process here? I'm genuinely curious how they plan to spin from the middle.

My story is one that starts as an arc, but could be built into a franchise wide crossover.

X-Teams
Each Arc would consist of a team of characters that are put together because their powers are what it would take to take care of the threat at hand. Each arc would most likely consist of different characters that you can find on Krakoa. Teams would consist of anywhere from two to five characters

I voted for The Adversary, in part because that seems like the easiest way to get an interesting Portals-To-Other-Times story going.

Yes. Once the poll is over, tool your story to using the winning villain and post it in the new thread. Poll closes on Sundays, winners announced on Mondays.
