It looks like Matt Murdock alright, though his hair is weird in those pictures. They'd be better of just not dying it.

Ah, he looks a lot like Romain Duris, in my book it's a plus.
Hope he's taller though, I always pictured Matt Murdock as pretty tall.

Yes, I had the same reaction. I've never seen "Boardwalk Empire," so my shallowness requires me to nitpick the ugly glasses and lack of redder red hair since I know nothing about Mr. Cox!

Why can't these exec/producer types get a clue when dealing with good properties and make them as close to the source material as possible?! They aren't nitpicky enough.

It is Maleev's work and I think it's great. That run was beautiful, especially this scene with Elektra.

To be honest most of these pictures dont really mean the show is gonna suck or anything.

Hell i hated the trailer(s) for Guardians but i thought the movie was great.

Given that folks haven't seen any footage of Cox actually acting, all we have is looks. And that's all he's going by....looks over any talent.
