I’d be okay with giving Claremont a book on the condition that he’s not allowed to use characters he’s written substantially before. I’d rather see him write for Transonic and Goldballs than Nightcrawer and Sage.
Not sure if Claremont fans would agree to that.

They should get people who have proven to be good sellers of comics. It is beyond me how some people think it is a good idea to keep giving chances to people who consistently get their books cancelled and sell terribly.
