Default Is the Hall of Justice a good idea?

I’m not talking about the idea of superheroes having a central meeting spot. That’s always awesome. I’m referring to the fact that the Hall apparently contains some of the most powerful and dangerous objects in the multiverse within its walls. Justice League Dark #15 showed that they have a vault containing insanely powerful magical artifacts. The Spear or Destiny, The Helmet of Fate, and the freaking Diamond of Eclipso, just to name a few. Plus in Batman/Superman we saw that Bruce has a special prison in the Hall with a very dangerous occupant.

So my question is, even with a security system created by Mr. Miracle, is it a bad idea to have all of these ridiculously power and dangerous items in one place? Or is it better to know where they are at all times and have the likes of The Trinity personally watching over them?

It's a horrible idea; but one rife with storytelling possibilities.

I like the design of the building, but it's a very cheesy idea that is kind of hard to take seriously, especially when you compare it directly to the Watchtower.

True! But...I'd rather have them hold the objects, then say my neighbor...!

While quite trustworthy, my neighbor is also 78 years old and feeble. I'm not sure how she'd react should Eclipso or Amazo come calling...

I always liked the idea of it being on the moon. Hard to get to and a cool view.

Aren't those supposed to be in the red vault at ARGUS? Which one came first? Counting every continuity, what's the most common place to store dangerous artifacts like that?

But if you put it in space then it's basically the Watchtower...

Isn't the current iteration of the Hall of Justice basically just a public storefront, with the actual HQ being elsewhere?

Nah, I never liked the idea of having everything in one place.

This was my understanding as well, it's more of a front/museum/tourist trap where sometimes the public get to meet their heroes. I think it ultimately works very well for that. I've long believed Bruce keeps his coffers rich by controlling the merchandising rights for the Justice League and its members (non-violent source of income that is guaranteed to be sustainable) and they'd need a place to hock all that product.

Jokes aside, I do think it works best as a figurehead. Keep the actual headquarters in the satellite or Happy Harbor.

Is a good idea to put dangerous/powerful artifacts/tech/items on one place? Certainly not, But in comics, It will allow writers more convenient to setting plots

OT, but anyone know the scale on this?
Not a fan of the Funko Pops (never bought one), but I would consider this to display Super Powers figures in front of, pending the scale, if it's actually bigger than the original yellow SP one?
