    Default Mystery/ Detective/ Whodunnit

Hi. Looking for suggestions for graphic novels (non superhero, non fantastic/ supernatural) with a mystery/ whodunnit/ detective theme. Right now I have Sherlock Holmes from Dynamite (is it good?) on my shortlist; any other suggestions?
    Thanks

Ed Brubaker's done some great stuff in general, but The Fade Out most fits what you're looking for.

Revelations from Dark Horse is a nice 6-issue mini series.
“We have a saying, my people. Don’t kill if you can wound, don’t wound if you can subdue, don’t subdue if you can pacify, and don’t raise your hand at all until you’ve first extended it.”

Ms. Tree: One Mean Mother just came out, and is a highly-regarded film noir-esque, Mike Hammer-influenced mystery series.

For a Sherlock Holmes character try Ruse from CrossGen and the mini-series from Marvel years later. My favorite story is Cinder & Ashe from DC comics, a Viet Nam vet and his Euro-Asian 'niece'/'daughter' investigate a kidnapping that leads to a political cover-up.
