Default What if Disney took a chance on the Inhumans ?

I mean look what Disney did with the Big Hero 6 team when they got Marvel. So why not let them have a shot with the Inhumans and be the bridge between the causal Disney viewers and the hardcore Marvel fans ?

Also Disney is always about family and Royalty and what bigger than the Inhuman Royal family ?

Plus they're doing an animated Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur series and Moon Girl has small connections to the Inhumans ?

Besides with how diverse the Inhumans can be and with Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan entering the scene why not bring let Disney try their hands at reviving the Inhumans with a Disney animated twist ?

As fans of Disney and/or Inhumans what do you think of it ?

They can say the first series didn't count...I would like them to take another shot that doesn't suck.

The Inhumans are still pretty toxic due to that god awful show and how they were used on Agents of SHIELD. It will be at least another 5 to 10 years before that stench is gone and they give them another look.

Moon Girl is an inhuman. They're a species, not a team. They did a good job on AOS because the inhumans never had a team. They joined other teams like Crystal, Medusa, Black Bolt, Ren and Kamala in the comics and Quake and Yoyo on TV because they're more independent from each other.

AOS does the hidden people, hidden city, and Terrigenisis pretty well. If the House of Boltagon had a cartoon, it would be better because the effects are free, but Disney/Marvel animation is pretty terrible.

The only good adaptation or a comic storyline of the inhumans was Fantastic Four The Animated Series from the 90's.

I feel like the likeliest place for them to turn up is live-action Fantastic Four, since that's their main "home" in the comics when they don't have their own series (which is most of the time).

Kamala's the only Inhuman we'll be seeing in live action for a while.

Big Hero Six was a one-off. They're not stealing other characters. Unlike BH6, Moon Girl's cartoon still carries Marvel branding.

Technically Kamala does give them a lead to reintroduce the Inhumans at some point. Give her a season or 2 to get established, an appearance in one of the movies, and then in season 2 sometime she gets approached by Crystal and we get to re-introduce the Inhumans again.

Of course Marvel would probably need to want to do something with them in the comics too. On the other hand like someone else said, they could use the Fantastic Four to re-introduce the humans in the 2nd movie.

I think the FF would be a great entrance. They did use the secret civilization (Black Panther), amnesia (Captain Marvel), and intelligent design (The Eternals) aspects from the original story, but they can write their way out of a box at Disney Studios.

Yeah, was gonna say this. They need a cooling off period after the show. But I think it is definitely possible for Marvel to do great things with them in the MCU

Why would Disney animation have an interest in The Inhumans?

Forget that its a marvel property, what makes them worth doing by disney?

Well Moon Girl's getting her own series and Marvel Rising has a couple of inhuman characters, so too late?

I mean you could say that about anything. What made Guardians of the Galaxy worth doing? It's not like that was any more widely known when it's movie was greenlit, but that turned out great. Or Eternals. There's value in any idea, it's just a matter of execution. Inhumans were handled very poorly in the show, but that doesn't mean it is not possible to do it well. If it was done animated, that would remove the FX budget concerns that led to the show looking, well, cheap and shoddy, and they coudl go as nuts with Medusa's hair and Lockjaw as they like. And while the Inhumans is probably an idea that would not hold a lot of appeal for very young audiences, there's plenty of potential there for like tweens+, something like the X-Men animated series.

Inhumans can work if the right people are behind it.

The TV show was a cheap rushed poorly written mess.

I don't think there is a huge push to relaunch the Inhumans after the recent badly received push. Marvel/Disney will probably sit on the property for a while before giving it another go.

Inhumans came out in September of 2017 if that's anything to go by. Coincidentally at the time of posting it is exactly three years since it debuted if Google is accurate.

The average viewer will not know Black Bolt is an Inhuman and you can then restart through the individual character. Inhumans honestly stand to return through another character's film rather than their own show or film given it would be competing against the Eternals and TV will not work given the sort of things they do. I'd expect it more through Fantastic Four.
