Division X / Department H - just an outline I put together for an alternate universe story
- an alternate universe where Emma Frost joined the X-Men at age 19 and together Emma and Jean ousted Charles Xavier once they realized he was meddling in people's memories and restricting their powers.
- due to Emma's assistance at an age 19 Jean achieved full telepathic and telekinetic potential to become one of the most powerful mutants on Earth
- Warren Worthington III and Emma Frost form the company Worthington Frost Enterprises and act as the business and funding arm of Division X
- Division X uses the Massachusetts Academy as their base of operations, where Emma acts as the public face of the school and headmistress, Jean is head of Division X, and Scott is field leader of X-Force the tactical force under Division X.
- Emma was Jean's right hand, and learned about her diamond form in a training accident.
- when recruiting Logan from Canada they decide to get permission from Department H instead of taking him to the US without authorization, this forms the beginning of the long term alliance between Division X and Department H
- Division X recruits Thunderbird, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Colossus as part of their world wide organization.
- in one of their first allied missions with Alpha Flight the X-Force team takes out the Hellfire Club and imprisions Sebastian Shaw, Donald Pearce, and Jason Wyngarde. It is discovered that Tessa was a double agent working for both Shaw and Xavier, and she is taken by Department H as part of the agreement and Tessa becomes an agent for Department H. Henry Leland allied with the X-Men and in exchange Division X supports Leland in becoming Lord Imperial of the Hellfire Club world wide organization.
- 2 years later Leland suffers a heart attack and he is replaced by Warren Worthington III, Elizabeth Braddock, and Brian Braddock who take over the Hellfire Inner Circle which operates in alliance with Division X.
- X-Force encounters Magneto and the Brotherhood, Emma Frost and Jean Grey force Erik and the Brotherhood to stop fighting them and talk about a possible arrangement.
- Magneto is convinced to run his Brotherhood as a clandestine organization and stay out of the press, they are fed targets by Division X to take down Sentinel Facilities, Weapon X facilities, and any locations world wide where mutants are being detained and experimented on or killed.
- Emma guides X-Force to encourage public support by offering services to the world governments in emergency response and search and rescue.
- Public support for mutants reaches an all time high, but several members of anti-mutant political groups create artificial terrorist attacks that are blamed on mutants and causes the United States to pass the Mutant Registration Act and to re-open the Sentinel Program. This was a conspiracy that reached all the way to President Kelly and infested all layers of the American Government. The US military industrial complex wanted to profit off an arms trade in Sentinels so they manipulated events to force the Mutant Registration Act.
- Division X moves all of their operations to Canada, James Hudson convinces Jean Grey to head the combined organization under the Canadian Department H and Jean Grey becomes head of Department H.
- Canada and Department H successfully negotiate mutant right reforms in Britain, Europe, and other countries around the world.
- Genosha is found out to be enslaving mutants and the country is liberated. On her father's suggestion Lorna Dane becomes interim president of the reformed Genosha and Magneto becomes head of the Genoshan military. Genosha is recognized by the United Nations in spite of the US veto and Genosha becomes an alliance nation.
- Department X spies discover the US is about to enact operation purge to attack superhumans and mutants and warn everyone. The Avengers and Fantastic Four escape to Europe before they can be killed in the Sentinel attack.
- The US enacts the law Mutant and Superhuman Detention Act which gives them the right to permanently detain any mutant or superhuman they want.
- 8000 refugees rush for the Canadian border, Rogue and Remy Lebeau die alongside 500 Canadian soldiers holding Peace Bridge Border Crossing, Rogue and Remy successfully take down over 100 Sentinels in a suicide attack with the support of the Canadian Soldiers. The US forces are soundly repelled and 6843 refugees make it into Canada. Rogue and Remy Lebeau are cheered as heroes in Canada for saving so many people and a statue is constructed in their honour in Ottawa.
- the United States declares war on Canada
- Department H at the behest of the Canadian government forms their own military command, the Mutant Liberation Army which will act alongside the Canadian Armed Forces. This new command is headed by General Jean Grey and several members of the X-Men become division commanders (Colonels).
- from there the war, but in this world the mutants were so well prepared and they had so many allies that they were able to hold the line and even start pushing back. In the Early part of the war Canada successfully anexed Washington, Oregon, and California all along the Rocky Mountains.
- The United States attacked Mexico and conquered a huge amount of territory before the Mexican Army was backed by the Europeans and were able to maintain hold over half the country.
- Mutant scientists alongside human scientists create the Lancelot Artillery System that can destroy a Sentinel from over 500 metres.

...and so the American Sentinel Command wages war on the world while the Mutants of Division X are much stronger in this world and have alliances with several world governments to assist in the War against the American Sentinel Command.

Just an outline for a fanfiction story I was thinking of writing where the ouster of Charles Xavier actually led to the mutants forming far stronger alliances with many human governments and particularly with Canada.

I absolutely love it. This would make for a great comic series.

X-factor- I think this book needed to balance the X-franchise, X-force has become associated with black ops versions of the teams. Well X-factor should be the reverse of X-force and in the past it has been version that . X-factor should be the public team" The PR team" The X-men team the X-men use to wins the heart and minds and change public opinion.

The concept is simple " A mutant team running around trying to be the best superhero team on the planet" aka Justice League meet X-men . Authorized by the UN, Sponsored by Worthington Industries, Hellfire Industries and Nike. They had to break off official ties with Krakoa but they are working under the table with Krakoa.

The book would be basically about a group of mutant celebrities love by the public(The book would feel like The Order/X-static/Youngblood/The Boys/The Ultimates), The team would have a PR manager/agent that would make them do the Hollywood stuff .The members of the team where picked because of their popularity and looks. It is not accident there is only one freaky looking mutant and it is not accident racial makeup of the group. Those things would be touch upon in the book. This book would show the side of the world the X-men books don't show not everyone hates mutants. In fact some mutants are really popular to point that they are almost worship by some people.

Overall this book is purpose publishing wise would be to keep the X-men as Superheroes something that it forgets over and over. Some X-men aren't cut out for the franchise push towards Freedom Fighters/Rebels and this book would be a place for them inside of the X-men franchise characters like Storm, Jean Grey, Colossus, Nightcrawler,Beast are better suited for straight up superheroes and this book would be good place to highlight them. The only downside and it is not really a big downside is that this team would became dislike by fans like the Avengers but since they are under the Umbrella of the X-men franchise you can actually address issues that they avoid with Avengers.

The Exiles (title is not new but the premise is lol)

Xavier and Magneto's secret mutant squad. It is revealed that exiled mutants aren't truly exiled on Krakoa, but they're put to use as a killing team for dirty works that no one knows about. It is compromised of "difficult" mutants that have been put through some mental reconditioning by Xavier so that they would collaborate, but are somehow starting to get their true memories back after their first mission. These mutants are also excluded from Resurrection protocols because no one can know that they are free instead of being caged below Krakoa, so the stakes are much much higher than with other teams.
Their first mission is to find and kill the people in charge of ORCHIS, infiltrating SHIELD, SWORD, Alpha Flight, AIM and such. They should not leave any trace of their actions and take no prisoners.

Members:

Mystique - After trying to get to the root of the Moira/Xavier/Magneto triumvirate and to understand why Destiny could not be resurrected, Mystique has been exiled and thrown out of the Council with false accusations set up by Xavier and Magneto. Her memories have been erased so that she could lead this team, but her mutant physiology is giving her visions of the real reasons why she's there and she'll eventually discover the truth.

Sabretooth - Obvious choice. His memories of the trials and the exiling were erased by Xavier and he's been turned into a vicious but easy to control killing machine.

Emplate - When not even empty husks were able to satiate his hunger, Emplate was seemingly exiled after killing young mutants, but instead he became a member of the Brootherhood. He's perfect for black-ops missions plus he's been given by Xavier artificial mutant marrow that he can feed on to gain additional powers.

Omega Red - I guess he'll do something crazy in the future with the whole Russian connections. He's been reprogrammed by Xavier after Exile so that he's going to display total loyalty to Krakoa.

Typhoid Mary - After the events of Typhoid Fever and the trauma of having her powers so augmented, she developed a new set of personalities, one crazier than the other. After getting on Krakoa thanks to amnesty, she used one of the Krakoan gateways to get to a highly populated area and almost kill everyone. After the big diplomatic incident, she was Exiled by the Council to show humans that mutants do not tollerate violence. Xavier secretly reprogrammed her and created a new personality for her, turning her into a serious, powerful mutant killer and suppressing her TP in the process so she couldn't find out.

Mentallo - The only mutant on the team that hasn't been truly Exiled (yet). Xavier needed a dummy to be the telepath of this team, since a similar powerset was needed for their cover missions but he couldn't risk having a high level telepathic mind hanging around, with the risk of uncovering the truth. He's been given a new helmet equipped with Cerebra technology that records the memories of his teammates without them knowing, and it also makes sure that Mentallo stays in line.

I absolutely love it. This would make for a great comic series.

I wanted to have the X-Men of 616 accidentally get portalled to that alternate Earth and encounter their counterparts in the alternate universe (maybe 1028, or something like that). Of course being a Jean and Emma shipper, Jean and Emma are married in a long term relationship in the other universe where Jean is General Grey, commander and chief of the Mutant Liberation Army and Head of Department H, and Emma is Captain Frost and she is 2nd in Command at Science Division and Emma works primarily as a Science Officer with Major Hank McCoy who runs Science Division. In my story I was going to have it that a point of contention is Rachel, and Emma who has spent years deprogramming hounds wants Rachel to stay in their world with her and Jean.

The alternate universe was also going to be 10 years ahead of ours so it would be 2029, and they had been fighting the war for 7 years by the time the X-Men arrive in their universe by accident. Emma and Jean would both be 39 years old.

I was going to work from the concept too that there is actually only one Phoenix in the multiverse so the Phoenix never visited this 1028 universe. The idea for the portal is that Mr Sinister of 1028 was researching legends of the Phoenix and he found ancient tech that allowed him to track it across the multiverse, he built a portal to 616 and he was doing research into the Phoenix. However, Division X became aware of some of his activities and the hunted him down and he died in the fight with Division X. Sinister triggered a self destruct at his base and destroyed it in the battle. However, the portal chamber was intact and could still be activated from either side. When the X-Men are investigating a strange base they find in their world they accidentally trigger the portal and are transported to the 1028 universe. However, in the process the receiving portal which was damaged explodes and everyone is stranded in the 1028.

Overhead, the energy surge is detected by the Command Ship "Avalon" and the Science Officer on board Emma Frost sends in her engineers to investigate the old Sinister Lab site that they thought was destroyed and they rescue the trapped X-Men who were injured. When they realize Rachel is a hound they separate her and isolate her from the rest because they need to confirm that she is free of the programming so Emma works directly with Rachel right from the start.

The rest of the X-Men are moved into medical detention on General James Logan Howlett's ship (2nd in Command of the Mutant Liberation Army) and Rachel remains on board Jean and Emma's ship.

The story would continue from there as the X-Men learn about this world where the MLA is part of Department H/Division X in Canada and they are fighting and winning the war against the American Sentinel Command.

The Blob's been angry at the world all his life but now that things seem to be going right, what's there to be angry at?

Don't kill humans. Respect the land. Bla bla bla. It sounds like a paradise to anyone else but Lady Mastermind isn't just anyone. What's a girl gotta do to get her adrenaline fix nowadays?

All that + Mystique keeps trying to string them back into her messy schemes.

Fate of X

A book about Moira and the Fates, her own team of "Horsemen" that would be working secretly in favor of Moira's agenda.
This would mean doing whatever it takes to guarantee her vision is carried out, including maintaining the no precogs rule.

Darwin would be her right hand, as I love the symmetry of someone whose mutant power is to remain alive working alongside Moira, whose powers are so connected to her death.
That lead me to thinking this would be a cool book to explore the Deadly Genesis team as well. Petra in particular could be very useful in a place like Krakoa...
