He's a "bad guy", whom Batman has whumped him hundreds of times already. Batman has to beat him, get him out of his way, to reach Bane.

"Deserved better" would be bringing Two-Face back to KILL him. Batman only socked at him, meaning he could come back to be used by King, or someone else, any time, whether stronger, weaker, or just the same depiction, but him being a regular Bat-Foe, of course he'll be back, and again, and again.

Don't condescend me. I've been reading superhero comics long enough to know what role the "bad guy", play to the "good guy". Obviously I have no issue with that format otherwise I would've given up on superhero comics a long time ago. What I want to see is formidable adversaries be presented as that, formidable. Having Two-Face (along with the other Batman rogues) being presented as zombies for Bane is lame and you using the "standard procedure", excuse doesn't change that. The Batman rogues are being wasted in City of Bane. Hell, even Bane is being wasted in City of Bane and the series is in his name. Just because the villains will inevitably be used again doesn't make it any less so.

I'll be back at issue #86. I can't in good conscience support this garbage run any longer. Sorry, but I just can't. I refuse to reward King's terrible writing and crack characterization.
