So lets settle this, now that'd be it if the battle were to last longer.

Actual poster? Extremely advanced algorithm? I’m on the fence.
    Why are we here?

"Superboy Prime (the yelling guy if he needs clarification)..." - Postmania
"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move." - Nik
"Why throw punches when you can be making everyone around you sterile mutant corpses?" - Pendaran, regarding Dr. Fate

We should start doing a Weirdest Thread of the Week™ 'award'.

This one is certainly the winner.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Remember "Batgirl vs. 10000 Orcs", or the one about "Superman vs. Venom" with the 'like hitting a bag of pillows' bit?

My $0.02 on the thread - the main thing to remember is that Twilight vampires are occasionally-psychic, bulletspeed acrobatic stone statues that run off blood. If you don't have a minimum level of damage dealing (breaking stone) and speed (a bit more nebulous, but still many times faster than any actual animal can move), then you just are not going to connect. And Indominus Rex has no shown AoE attacks, so it needs to connect to win.

So Ed has enough speed to run to the ID-Rex's side, leap onto its back, smack it once or twice (hard enough to stop a speeding van, which should at least bruise the beast), hop off, and run completely out of range before ID-Rex can actually start to turn to where Ed first ran off to back at the beginning. Ed's nature means it is unlikely for him to tire, while the ID-Rex should eventually start wearing out after the repeated hits, which makes Ed's job easier. Eventually, enough things in ID-Rex break down that it can no longer effectively fight, which means Ed can tear it apart at his leisure.
    ---

    Sincerely,

    Melchior, the Geddon Knight
