Agreed. To me his biggest crime was jeopardizing the nation state they are building and working to get globally recognized.

His biggest crime was endangering the safety of all mutants by jeopardizing the mission to obtain crucial information needed to take down Mothermold.

Not sure about the other things, but Cebulski recently said Dawn of X would have lots of romance. Whether it's new or not is another matter. COuld just be Rogue x Gambit, followed by Jott, Scemma, and Jogan. lol

Since Jubilee and Chamber is now filler, I wouldn't be opposed to a GenX book with Jubilee getting Synch this time around. No telling if Monet still holds a torch for him, though I like the idea of them getting back together. He was the best guy she was with.

Idk but I feel like Hickman could breathe new life into Jean/Phoenix.
TO ME, they are one. Jean is strong and stuff without it but idk it just feels half baked without her being the child of the crystal =(

I want white phoenix explored and I'd love to see something like this

Excactly, if we simply follow military chain of command, the secret mission members Mystique, Toad, and Sabretooth were ordered not to kill any humans and to avoid causing an international incident. The intel was vital, just like any spy mission like this is, they needed that intel to find out how far along the Forge and Mother Mold actually were and the location. But the mission was to be as quiet as possible and to avoid human casualties.

Krakoa was forced then to send Emma Frost to as Krakoan Ambassador to the United States to negotiate with the President for extradition which she was successfully able to do. But it may have actually cost them a concession that we don't know about yet, perhaps they were forced to lower the drug costs for a year in order to get Creed extradited back to Krakoa. Emma said they had an agreement with the US government and she was authorized to retrieve Creed and bring him back to Krakoa for judgement. They even demonstrated to the humans that they were keeping Creed restrained for the trip back and he wasn't just going to be allowed to walk around free as they removed him from the country.

Creed disobeyed a military order not to harm humans, as a soldier for the Krakoan military he disobeyed orders and he deliberately murdered enemy combatants that did not have to be harmed and he jeopardized the mission by killing those guards. Under military justice he could technically be executed for what he did.

As some of mentioned here, Krakoan justice doesn't have to be static, it can be dynamic and it can change as time goes by. For now Creed is being contained in the best way they have available, but that may change later and they may even offer him a second chance to prove he deserves a lighter sentence.

I do understand that right now several members of the Krakoan government are not the nicest people out there, but so far none of them have advocated for a direct war with the humans, and they are all participating in the government and adhering to the rules under which they were offered amnesty. Of course Sinister is going to break the amnesty agreement, it's not a matter of when, it's a matter of how. Apocalypse may be on the fence right now, and there is a chance later on that he may do something that will trigger the humans making a mistake and starting a war with Krakoa. Apocalypse is smart, he will do something that makes the humans look to be at fault so that when Krakoa goes to war it will appear that the humans started it. Apocalypse wants to show the mutants that the humans will never want peace and that the only solution is to take over the planet and contain the threat of the humans forever. But Apocalypse is patient, he may choose to wait a year or two before he makes his move.

I'd like Synch with Monet tbh, I don't know what can be done with Jubilee atm in terms of romance but I'd like to see more development of her.

Jubes had something brewing with Chamber, but that's gotten no attention since Strain's GenX.

Imagine thinking a monster like Sabertooth is deserving of fairness. I want to see the fairness he displayed to the folks he needlessly mutilated. Magneto gave him an order and his fucked it up. Dude got what was coming to him

See, this is a pretty good example of why prison reform is so fucked up. Trading the long-term good for the immediacy of vengeance. This is how politicians manipulate citizens into voting them into prosecutarial positions. "Joel Hogenstein ain't soft on crime! You mess with the law, YOU PAY THE PRICE!" Which they then leverage into senatorial and gubernatorial positions that they have no qualifications for beyond their willingness to sacrifice human lives for the advancement of their careers. No need for nuance, extenuating circumstances, or neutral application of the law. Bad people don't deserve to be treated fairly, they're bad! And as easily as that, Krakoa has its first underclass. Which I guess makes it a real nation, because criminals are always treated like shit who don't deserve to exist.
