While I agree that it isn't the Maker – that isn't how the Maker works. The Maker has a slice of himself in every reality. Being in FF would be no obstacle to him being here.

The Maker being in Absolute Carnage / Venom, though, that's might be one.

I know X is not the maker but I'm starting to wish it was someone other than Xavier. With current Marvel Xavier will end up doing something terrible and edgy and fans will hate him for that.

I've seen plenty defending Daken & calling him an anti-hero. Her, twitter, youtube, tumblr. People shipping him with Iceman. And some shipping him with Monet as if that was better than Invert Creed. lol

He certainly has fallen a long ways from the fatherly X-Man figure. But Hickman still says he's a hero and Magneto is a villain

"Missing the point"...As Ororo101 rightly says...seems to be the gist of most of the arguments against what HiX-Man is trying to achieve with HoX/PoX.
What most of the points boil down to is:
Not the X-Men I know. Not my X-Men. Not the Story(ies) I want to Read involving My X-Men...with paragraphs of explanatory rationales. And that's all well and good, except...

It's not YOUR personal X-Men...written for you and you only.
It's not My personal X-Men...written for me and me only.

At which point do you stop personally questioning the writer's talent, capability and intent, about HIS story, HE is being paid to tell?
At which point do you say: "You know what? This is not for me." and move on, if you find it so reprehensible?
Because the scratched record some of you keep playing over and over and over (under the guise of 'debate')...without adding anything of real value to the discussions...is so mind-numbingly tedious, it's shocking.

People are allowed to disagree with you. Positive hyperbole can also be annoying.

I haven't seen anyone defending his actions, nor the need for consequences for them. The arguments center around him being punished for a law that had only recently been created, and punished in a monstrous way.

People were just pointing out that the X-Men were a little underhanded in that moment. They should have dealt with Creed long ago though.

Yeah, I can't recall any defense of Mystique. She's just a more interesting irredeemable villain to read about than Sabretooth is.

As much as I like Creed, what happened to him really wasn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. Dude killed a human or two, got amnesty, and got dealt with by his peers as an example. Not much to read into in retrospect.
