fine line here, it might not count if you've read the issue. But this is the one I'm going with.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

I was thinking of using that cover, but rule #2 says "Does not contain a man." It doesn't say it's okay if they are unconscious.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

@The Darknight Detective: Less than half an hour to an A-Force cover, though not the one I was expecting.

@LordMikel: I'm sure it's fine, and it's always allowed to not vote for covers you don't think fit the theme.

Looking at some of the covers here, I maybe should have added a third rule: "No male gaze." But that will have to wait for another contest.

If one can make a decent case that Goliath, Quicksilver, Vision, and Black Panther are all non-binary or transgender, the cover would be fine.

But that's a rather steep hill to climb, I guess.

Sisters are doin' it for themselves.
Standin' on their own two feet.
And ringin' on their own bells.

That "Bonus Aaron Lopresti Pin-up" notice is killing me!

Well, if that doesn't entice you to buy the book, then I don't know what else on that cover will!

(I should point out that it is a pin-up drawn by Aaron Lopresti, not a pin-up of Aaron Lopresti.)

I already submitted an entry (back at #15), so this is not an entry. The reason I didn't submit this Adam Hughes take on a Diana / Lois gab-fest is the image of a bored Clark in the background, even though he isn't actually there. I figure that violates the no-man rule anyway, doesn't it?
