Polyamory, which really isn't my thing, I dislike it on all characters and couples.
but of course there are people who could like it nothing wrong with it.

I find it funny that Scott and Jean are the reason for this thread. They are some of the last people I'd think of.

    They are too vanilla.
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!

I don't know about Jean, but Scott is not vanilla at all. He likes BDSM, lol.

BDSM is the most vanilla of kinks.

And sex with two people at the same time is a high level extreme? xD

I actually think it would make shipping worse since it opens more possibilities in pairings.

My thoughts exactly.. and thanks for sharing. I’m empathic, and intimacy with my partner strengthens the relationship and connection we have. Intimacy has always involved emotions for me, and that is something I only have and need room enough for one person.

I don’t judge others or their practices, it’s just something I never could do without risking the great thing I have with my guy in our same-sex almost-marriage. I would think that there are X-Men characters like me who are monogamous, as well as polyamorous, abstinent, and even asexual. Same goes for sexual orientations. X-Men have always been about diversity to me. The different backgrounds for each character are what makes them unique and relatable to each individual reader.

With this topic, this brings up questions I have from what I’ve read about the Krakoan rules: no humans allowed (from what I’ve read,) mutants must create more mutants, and hints at poly relationships. So... is this something all characters will adhere to? What about Jubilee and her human adopted son Shogo? Northstar’s husband Kyle? Will gay characters be required to procreate? I haven’t had the time to read the newest issues... but these are things that I’d have a hard time grasping several of the characters falling in line with.

Ya know what? I started off this week reading the spoilers and was really off put by the idea just because it's somewhere I never imagined these characters to go, but reading others takes on this, I am opening up more to the idea. I still don't want Jean and Wolverine to ever have a actual romance in the comics though, and I think that's a concern I'll always have.

    You and me both.

Not because I particularly dislike the idea of Jean and Logan, but mostly because I just don't like Logan.

Like let everyone have their thing and send him to Nova Scotia with a wendigo or something idc.

No. Genuine polygamy isn't something that most real women fall into naturally. In western culture, 8/10 times, they were either pressured into it for the benefit of an extremely horny dude or flat out forced into it. Cults with a lot of sexual abuse type stuff. It's wrong to glorify stuff like that.

I can't tell if this is real or trolling. Many people love more than one person without jealousy.
