Imagine if that was Rogue and Gambit for example.
    Rogue/Gambit/Magneto/???

Poor Gambit. He doesn't even have his own "Magneto", lol.

Overall, I would say no. This sounds like an easy way for writers to give their favorite characters multiple relationships at once.

True, they jus trying spice **** up.

I’d prefer Emma/Scott and Jean on the side but that’s just my preference.

This SHOULD NOT be applied on MaryJane and Spidey though.

    Marvel, take note.

Polygamy, or, more precisely, open relationships add more story possibilities, so I'm all for it.

That doesn't seem like a bad thing to me.

I'll be pedantic and say that "polygamy" is not a synonym for "polyamory".

Polygamy is having multiple marriage partners, usually in the context of a man having multiples wives. Often problematic.

Polyamory is the capacity to hold romantic relationships with more than one partner, with the consent of all involved.

Anyway. Would folks please refer to it as polyamory as opposed to polygamy? They're kinda not the same thing.

The problem is that this doesn't solve anything. Marvel isn't interested on having the characters on happy and stable relationships, they aren't going to do so with two or more at the same time, they all break up at some point. I feel some scemma shippers seem to like this option (which of course affects jott more than scemma) but the problem is that this doesn't secure any of the relationships like some believe it will. It just kind of paints them as insuficient, all of them.

This is curious, could you tell me why do you think it would be wrong on that case?

My only legit concern would be, how the next writer will handle it. Whether he will cherish it or cause more problems.

I mean if it's in character possibly

I'm not sure why people are so obsessed with making something happen that's not and Jean and Scott boning everyone. They were always pretty vanilla.

Marvel seems to just hate marriages for no reason. First MJ and Peter. Scott and Jean.

Wolverine and Jean just don't work together. Wolverine's had plenty of other loves as is.

Now Betsy has boned around for quite a while and her having more than one guy would be in character perhaps.
