I think the big edge here is that Conan has is he'll probably have armor, and will definitely have a sword, or similar weapon.

Tarzan will have his bow and arrows, I suspect, though I'm not sure what good that'll do against Conan.
In close combat, Conan should take it handily, both being ridiculously physically powerful, but sword and armor against knife.Why are we here?

IIRC in the first book they were extremely poisonous too.
