This show seems to gotten a lot tamer for some reason - less violent, less insightful or challenging on an emotional level, less clever, etc. I don't think it's just that we've gotten used to it either.

I may have been a little underwhelmed by the season, but I chalked it up to being used to the characters. Maybe you're right. Maybe it was because it felt like two half shows (Ivy's plot and Harley's plot) that didn't quite add up to one full show. At least I laughed throughout the season, and I eagerly await Kite-Man.
