Totally agree on Chandler and Monica and will add the following.

    - Jake and Amy from Brooklyn Nine Nine
    - Niles and Daphne from Frasier
    - Leslie and Ben from Parks and Recreation

    Love them all.

I recently watched Parks and Rec and I really liked Leslie and Ben because they were fun loving, and yes they argued about stuff but they always treated each other like equals, even at the very end. Gotta respect that.

LOL. pretty sure Andrew Crossett mentioned them on the third post of this thread.

at the moment my favorite "sitcom" couple would be the Mighty Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend. they just make me laugh.

    Modern Family's Mitch and Cam.

They never fail to make me laugh, and they have some touching moments as well.

For a time when almost every sitcom was blushing stiff pecks on the cheek... Gomez & Moriticia were always the most fun and unapologeticly over the top romantic and passionate for each-other!...

another couple I really like just for pure comedic purposes is The Ropers from Three's Company.

They were hilarious! And probably my fave part of that show. The actors did such a good job with their parts, imo.

I have to say that Gomez was one of the VERY few sitcom husbands of the 60's who didn't regularly try to play the "master of the house" card with his wife.

Lily Munster also came off as the brains of the house as compared to Herman Munster. They maybe went a little too far portraying Herman as the child and Lily as his mother.

In the early episodes, Herman came off fairly well brain-wise (at least relatively), but that was all tossed out the window by the second season (though the later Herman is my favorite, FWIW).

Some people are missed off with the new Adams family movie. They are into bondage, and see gomez and mortica as a sexy couple who are also into bdsm.

The fact that the new animated kids movie takes its look from the Charles Adams comics, instead, screws with their fantasies a little......

Modeling them on the original Charles Addams character is fine... doing them in 3D computer animation looks ridiculous. They look like plastic bath toys. Seriously... 2D animation is still an option, not that you would know it.

I loved the TV series (have it complete on DVD), and I really liked the Sonnenfeld movies. I even liked the stupid 70's cartoon where they put the mansion on wheels and went road tripping. But I'm gonna pass on this one.

Why do you listen to these people.
Charles Addams worked on contributed to the TV show himself.
And while I haven't seen the new movie (I'll wait to judge it).
I actually do love the look and cast of the live action TV show, as well as the 90's movies, with Anjelica Huston and Raúl Juliá.
In fact it was a dream to see them re-do it live action.
I even came up with what I thought was a great re-cast and director. (sadly this did not happen)
With Óscar Isaac Hernández as Gomez, well over a year before the cartoon movie was in production or announced.

As for their relationship, it was always full of innuendo in the illustrations, TV and in Film ...
If they didn't see it, that's on them.
