Eric Masterson was probably one of my all time favorite characters...seriously! Right up there with Spidey and the original Thor. That said, I sadly just don't see him being any match for Hippolyta. From what I've seen, Hippolyta is roughly as strong as Wonder Woman, and also has centuries of battle experience. Masterson, for all the sheer raw power he gets from Thor was...er...to put this gently...an oaf. While he might be able to tag her with some lightning or maybe a well timed hammer throw, I just don't see it. If Hippolyta can close in, Eric is in a lot of trouble. I dunno. Eric did have STRONG showings against both Gladiator and Thanos, but then he had extremely weak showing against Bloodaxe and Sif. I still have to give the edge to Hippolyta (as much as I don't want to.)

Hercules will probably turn up in Mastersons gear and pretend to be him and..... you know what happens then.
