What if the Amazons never left? Rather much like the Island made it a barrier between our world and their world. They live in a different dimension. So anything that happens to us, doesn't necessarily harm them.

I like the island being slightly out of cync with our dimension, because otherwise, invisible or cloaked, something or someone could still find their way into the island..
What do you guys think? Instead of leaving their stayed in the man's world existing outside of our dimension in their own pocket dimension. In terms of Paradise Island it could be used just has something else.
I like this as the explanation for why access is limited. Invisibility won't prevent a random guy from sailing in that general direction. It's like how you can't simply climb Mount Olympus and see the gods... It's a place with physical substance, but out of phase.
As I stated above, it provides additional protection for the Amazons.
It also helps to keep them anonymous to the world outside, for the most part. In other words, it lets the Amazons keep some if their secrets secret!
In addition, it keeps an "Island Evil" from easily reaching Man's World.
Going with Perez they should be able to teleport anywhere they want
