I mean, it seems to me to be a repeat of the promotion for this last run of the GotG, which ended up with a much more close-knit roster, but initially teased a whole slew of cosmic characters, most of which had minimal involvement.

It's more so the exact opposite, isn't it?

The first promotional art for Cates's run showed a ton of characters, but it was stated only a few of them would be in the new Guardians. Meanwhile, the first promotional art for Ewing's run has shown only a few characters, but it's been stated the cast's going to be much larger.

And how does she feel, knowing that there's a version of Phyla alive in this universe, coupled up with a less-flawed version of her? That's got to be a hard thing to get your head and heart around at all levels.

Is that reborn Poseidon? Also, the art works so well with cosmic! But it's gonna take some getting used to for some of the characters. Lastly, I'm glad Ewing is take ques from Grant Morrison's Marvel Boy incarnation. That was the best imo.

I think it's Cabal's take on the reborn Zeus at the end of No Road Home, given the "star skin."
