I don’t know who the top 7 bands of all time are.
I have not listened to 90% of the bands who
Are often mentioned to know if they are better
Than the bands I do know and feel should be
In the top 7
But I do feel pretty confident
In putting the Beatles and Led Zeppelin
In that list
After that it all comes down to what
Each person likes
Personally I like bands I just discovered
The past ten years as much as bands I
Have loved for decades.

You've undoubtedly heard some of their songs: "The Weight" ("take a load off Fanny..."), "Up On Cripple Creek," "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" and maybe some others.

The Band was not Bob Dylan's band. They toured with him in 1965-66 and played on some of the songs on Blonde on Blonde. But Dylan used a variety of studio musicians on his albums. Notably Al Kooper and Mike Bloomfeld. You can say The Band is one of the most important bands of all time. You can say Dylan is one of the most important artist. But not Bob Dylan and The Band.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
