Hawkman's many incarnations

At the end of the first arc of the current Hawkman series, he channeled all his past lives to fight off his former deathbringer partner.

Where did all his past incarnations go after the battle was done? And is this a new power set of Hawkman? Can he "call up" his former selves when he's in a bind to fight off a foe?

I'm guessing they all returned to their respective eras to live out their fates, most likely with little or no memory of the battle with the Deathbringers. Hell, its possible they weren't literally pulled in from the past, but rather were simply 'resurrected' temporarily.

And yes, this does seem to be a new power of Hawkman's, but its unclear if its one he can use willy-nilly.

It could be an intriguing power if he could channel their skills, or even tap their strength to augment his own, as a continuing power development. (The strength of a couple hundred normal dudes is not even close to Superman-level, but still impressive, particularly if partnered with 100 lifetimes worth of fighting skill and experience!)

Yeah good point, it might also be cool that if he were channel a past self, that he would change to appear as that Hawkman version. That would be a cool trick and might make the long time fans happy.
