Moira is a west-coast Scot, so of course it has to be Glasgow:
Specifically, the deep-fried Mars bars in the Blue Lagoon by Central Station, chased down by an Irn Bru/Buckfast cocktail.
ETA: Moria's Chrismas present to herself:
Watch out Krakoa when Moira's on the wreck-the-hoose-juice.

Obviously it's Glasgow. It is the official birthplace of chicken tikka masala, it has the best indian restaurants in all of Britain, and its average indian takeaway curry can rival a US fine-dining indian restaurant. And we all know that there is no self-respecting Scottish person whose favourite cuisine isn't indian. Even the old ladies who can't take the heat of a kashmiri chili love a good korma.
I loved that thread till someone mentioned one of the sadly most glorious culinary infamies ever conceived: the fried Mars... (food for Proteus in a bad mood)
Moira, don't worry: we have wonderful bottles of scotch whisky in Paris.
- To Tammy and the Blue Rose !
I would like to see a panel of Proteus eating a deep-fried Mars bar.
